HOME BUSINESS CHOICES
Isuppose I should have titled this “HOW I CHOSE MY HOME BASED BUSINESS”, but that was just too long. However that is what I want to talkabout.
First,I wanted to find a business that involved four things I loved most: staying at home, using my computer, using the inter-net and learning something new. The fact that I could make money involving these requirements made it even more enticing. With these requirements in mind, I started looking? A search of the Internet revealed hundreds of businesses meeting the first three requirements, but their meeting the fourth was questionable. Beinga retired liberal arts educator, I know nothing about business; therefore learning something about business was desired objective!
Ialso had two other requirements. Idid not want to have to personally sell something---meaning I did not want tocontact people in person to ask them to buy something. I am an educator, not a salesperson. I absolutely could not ask someone to buy something from me. The second requirement was that I not have to buy or carry inventory!
Idid find one that I thought met all of my requirements, and I paid the heftysign-up fee. This business didmeet the first three requirements very well. The fourth---not so well. I learned some things, but not the right things. The superb coaching I was promised wasnot there. They did not call me as promised. Not only that, they did not respond to my emails or calls. The inter-net classes were poorly executed. Even so, I did learn some things. I learned that there were other things to consider when choosing an inter-net business!
Because I had no experience in building a website, I found that I needed one ready made for my use. If you have to build your own and lack the experience to do so, your profit does not start until you get the site up and running. This was not provided in the business I bought into. They did provide some inadequate instruction in building a website.
An inter-net business needs a variety of attractions to bring people to your website. Sure, it is important to sell the business. But you need something to bring many people to your website; people who may not think they want a business. They may be attracted to the website for shopping and when they get there, they may find themselves attracted to the business itself.
Finally, there are many home-based business out there. We have to learn the skill of media placement, advertising, if we are to be successful!
The business I bought into included none of this! As a result, I got absolutely nowhere.
My second attempt at Internet market has met all of these requirements! Mary Gersten and her Global Cash Flow meet all of these requirements.
Mary and her staff are determined that you will succeed and do so at no risk to you. I do not have to look for a coach; they call me at leas once a week. All of my calls and emails are promptly answered.
I have not one, but two personal websites that were instantly ready to go. Making my site personal to reflect me and my likes has been made easy.
Thecoaching staff has readily worked with me to teach me the skill of media placement and affiliate marketing. I have been provided with a wealth of written material to help me with these skills. They call me weekly to check on my progress and are available to me whenever I need them.
Yes,I am enjoying the business and I am making money! What more could I ask?
